==Troubleshooting==

*If pressing start button results in soft sound repeated three times "dugga dugga dugga" the machine can not find both balls. One may be stuck/hiding in the playing area or the limit switches that detect the balls near the launcher may be dirty or damaged.
*Powers on but won't feed balls? Check fuses in top cabinet. Front 'glass' lifts up and out, panel swings to the left exposing electrics.
*Sound volume control pot/knob is on the inside, left wall, about 12" in from the front door.
*TILT: The tilt switch is a metal rod hanging inside a round hole in a piece of sheetmetal on the left side wall just inside the door. It may be jammed to one side by the manuals or other contents of the machine.

*Diagnose fuse blowing problem
**Likely culprit: bad solenoid on jet bumper (already disassembled - discoloured)
*Replace left flipper solenoid
**This is the cause of the left flipper sticking on the down-stroke, and the repeated blowing of at least one fuse.

*Replace all rubber bumpers
**Order new bumpers
*Realign flippers
**They keep getting out of alignment no matter how much they are tightened. Maybe threadlocker would help?
*Descale copper contacts

*The 2BA error may occur instantly or near the end of the file load process depending on when the limit is reached.
*If the internal memory is very full, pressing the Data button to pick a USB file will give no response as if the Data button is broken.
*When the Tajima is too full to show the 2BA error, data can be deleted just as if the 2BA error had appeared.

#Rotate the main shaft until the circled indicator disappears in the status display
#Perform a manual color change, by selecting a different color using the manual color change keys on the bottom right of the keypad. Once a different color is selected press the "set" key to confirm the manual color change.
#Once the manual color change is complete you may resume your stiching.

The Protospace alarm is located near the back entrance. You'll need to arm it with the alarm code if you are the last person to leave the space.

To arm or disarm the alarm simply punch in the alarm code, no other buttons need to be pressed. There is a light switch to the immediate left of the rear door as you come into the space.

The Protospace metal lathe training course consists of a five step process completed by the student on their own time and at their own schedule:

# Complete the qualification exam. Link to the exam as well required information is provided at the end of this page
# Review and plan the practical project requirements. The practical project is standardized and students will have the theory required to plan their practical at the completion of the course. Students are expected to be prepared to complete the practical with minimal input from the instructor regarding theory and order of operations. == Part X: Exam ==
Complete the following exam. This exam is open book and you may review any of the above materials while completing the exam. The exam consists of 4-5 sections each covering a given section of the course. You must get 100% on the safety section of the exam and 75% overall score to successfully pass.
